Transition to Toddler Bed

About 2 weeks ago we began Operation: Kick Brayden Out of Our Bed. We had bought the piece to change his bed from a crib to a toddler bed so we weren't worried about him killing himself climbing out anymore. And on the night that it started we were getting settled and trying to go to sleep and Brayden was trying to jump around and play. That was the breaking point and Lark carted him off to his room and this was going to be the night it started. He cried for about 20 minutes and then gave up and went to sleep. Since, the last time we tried, he cried for over 45 minutes -we call this success.

Night two was a slight improvement - he cried but not for as long. By the third night he didn't cry at all and it's been pretty good since. (Although now he cries when I want him to brush his teeth which is new). When we first started he was coming into our room between 3 and 4 am, but now he is consistently sleeping in his room until 7:30 or 8:30 so we are making progress!
