1st Phillies Game

We ventured out to Pittsburgh for Brayden's first game and this year's opening day. We made it to downtown Pittsburgh by 11:30 am, but then kept driving around looking for parking. This went on for a while as we passed quite a few lots that said "No Game Day Parking" or "No Event Parking" so finally Lark dropped me and Brayden off a few blocks from the stadium and went to find a spot on his own. We made it to our seats about 12:45, which was just not early enough to get Brayden any autographs. Lark made it in a little after 1:00. The game was great - we had first row seats behind the Phillies dugout and the Phillies won! Roy Halladay was pitching and he threw Brayden a ball on his way into the dugout after one of the innings, but since Lark was holding him, he missed the ball and it rolled back into the dugout :( Brayden fell asleep after the 7th inning and we decided to try to find our car and beat the traffic so we left after the 8th. Except Lark had a hard time remembering where he parked and it was a little more challenging finding the car. Eventually, we did and then made the trek home. Overall - great day!
